Topic: Image upload

I have an intermittent problem with image upload and editing. On some occasions the slected file to upload progresses in the green bar to 100% and then another light pink bar appears above it and the new image does not appear for editing. Images are standard jpgs and relatively small file sizes. <1mb. On the occasions when upload does work the same images have uplaoded OK so it cannot be an image problem.

Have seen previous thread on this but no clear resolution answer.

Any advice appriciated

Martin, what's your connection like please? This can sometimes have an affect on uploading. If you know you're on a good connection, could you email some grabs to sprt /at/ simplecms.com please

connection is V good - rock solid 50mb down / 5mb up.

Further thought, is there a limit on / issue with image dimensions rather than image file size.

The image that was failing was 2336x2504 but only 588kb

I have resized to 800 x 1200 and it works OK

Is there an explicit dimension limit?

Hi Martin, this has now been resolved and we have replied to your email about this matter as well.

The problem was the image resolution being very large and consuming too much memory. We have increased the memory limit for the upload script to resolve this issue.
