Topic: Urgent Help! I broke my client's WordPress site!

I went to add a client's site to my SimpleCMS sites and it was a WordPress site. Now the site is all garbled data when I click any of the pages. You can see at http://seascapecoastalretreat.com then click on About us or anything else.
Hope you can help me... it doesn't feel good to break somebody else's stuff :(
Also, what is weird is that the site didn't even really end up added to my account. It was like a 'hit and run'

Re: Urgent Help! I broke my client's WordPress site!

Ok, if you've gone to the page since I sent the request, you're wondering what I'm talking about. It's because I turned off 'caching' in WP Super Cache and that took care of MOST of the problem. Only one page still has an error message at the top. It's a little different from the one I was getting on all the other pages.
It says

" Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /usr/www/users/morandan/Ingonish/seascapecoastalresort/2012/index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7) in /usr/www/users/morandan/Ingonish/seascapecoastalresort/2012/wp-content/themes/Hermes-v1-3/Hermes/gallery.php on line 8
"

Re: Urgent Help! I broke my client's WordPress site!

SimpleCMS doesn't edit dynamic sites using other CMS software such as Wordpress; the system can only edit static sites. Can I ask why you would be using SimpleCMS to edit the content on a Wordpress site by the way?

Re: Urgent Help! I broke my client's WordPress site!

Hi, the problem turned out to be an exploit on the whole server :(
The reason I wanted to use Simplecms on a WordPress site is because I created the client's site using WP, but I don't want them to have full access to the Dashboard... it's over their head... I just wanted them to be able to change their own rates and other simple text edits on their pages.
I think there may be a CMS plugin for WP... I'll check that out.
Thanks, good to know this is not an option, but I still like it for my static clients' sites.

Re: Urgent Help! I broke my client's WordPress site!

There is one way you could do this: use a site dumper and take the whole completed site down as a flat site, then attach SimpleCMS to it - I have had to do that with a client's site once and it worked fine.

Of course, if you do that you would lose all WP functionality and it's not something I would recommend but it's a solution if you really want to use an easier CMS.
