Topic: Image Broken Error Message

Several of my clients are experiencing an "image broken, you cannot edit a broken image" error message when trying to post photos. They are getting increasingly frustrated. I too am getting the "image broken error message" - if there is an answer out there, as the last report was registered on 17 Feb 2012, I would appreciate an answer either directly or in the tutorials.
