Topic: Changes not being saved...

Hello,

I am making changes to the Greenleaf Trust site - when I click save draft, everything saves, however when I click save changes at the top, it reverts back to the previous version.

All my other sites are working normally - can you help?

Hi Jane and David, I'm not a Geordie but I live in Newcastle :)

I've just checked that website's files on the FTP server and I can see the HTML files haven't got any permissions, they are currently set to 000. I have tried to change the file permissions using my FTP client, FileZilla, but they won't change. I assume another FTP user uploaded these files.

Changing the files to have read/write permissions will resolve the problem.

Hi there,

I have had a similar problem, while duplicating pages then making my changes, saving them and changes not being saved.

What permissions should the files be set to on the server?

Hi John, which site are you having problems with? Feel free to email the details to us.

Try changing the file permissions to 777 to see if it works then.
