Topic: SEO Tab (not working)
Hello There,
On my customers website drivingschoolmedway.co.uk for some reason the SEO tab doesnt appear, I find this to happen to a few customers. Any idea what might be causing this issue?

Hi Nexus, I've just taken a look and found the problem. Your page is encoded in ISO-8859-1 and SimpleCMS is in UTF-8. Your title,keywords,description sometimes contain special characters for example, £ instead of £ and the extended hyphen that Microsoft Word normally produces. These should all be fine if your pages were encoded in UTF-8.
These special characters are preventing the title,keywords,description from appearing. To help the situation I have updated the system so you can still see the SEO form so you can enter in a new title,keywords,description.

Will it show for any of my websites the original keywords and titles when I click on SEO if my page is encoded in UTF-8?

Yes it will. The system will work best with sites encoded in UTF-8.
