Yeh, guys, any suggestions for V3 of the system, please do pop them on these forums. It's almost ready and is such a radical change from what we have now, it's actually got a different name ... we'll let you know soon!

Send us an email Felix - for obvious reasons, it's not a good idea to talk FTP details on the help forum...

Please use the sitemap to navigate through the site - this is the easiest way to access your pages from any page on your site

I've just checked this out in FF too (on a Mac) and it loads fine here, so could you email through a screen grab and we can take a look at what the problem is.....

Scott, email us and we can give you a comp account which will sort your issue out in the meantime

As promised, this feature has now been added - thanks again for your suggestion Mitch!

It's a nice idea Mitch, thanks - it's also something we've talked about and agree that we will put this feature in place within the week.

When launched it will appear in the Site settings area: Sites > Update / remove > Site settings

Any more suggestions, keep 'em coming!

It's something that we're working on right now and it will be with us soon - but if you're a Professional user, and you need another site under a different brand, just let us know and we can set you up with another Professional account (for free) as a temporary workaround for this.

We have a number of users we have done this for already - and although it's not the ideal solution, it does get around the problem for now. Just send us an email and we'll have you up-and-running with a complimentary account in no time.

If you're referring to the jQuery banner at the top of the page, SimpleCMS cannot edit this. There are so many different scripts out there to cater for various slideshows that to adapt the system to all of them would be nigh on impossible. We are working on enabling something for the more popular ones later in the year.

This is something which we are aware of and will be adding in the next incarnation of the system which is due out soon - as you say, currently it's not as intuitive as we hope and believe the rest of the system to be. If your client is happy to muddle along for now then V3 of SimpleCMS will fix this.

Hello! You define this area as editable in the same way as you have defined the other areas - I have done the first one for you, as a test and left the lower one for you to define if you wish.

Great - thanks for supporting our project! Would you mind if we used your words on our testimonials page?

The issue you're having with vienne86.co.uk seems like it could be FTP related - best thing to do is send us an email about this so that we can look into it for you - email is here: http://www.simplecms.com/contact

Thanks for your quite clearly educated comments and positive words about SimpleCMS - just wait until you see the next incarnation!

In the meantime though, we do offer in-system code editing and SEO features and these are all reserved for our paying members as we have to feed and clothe our children ;)

I've sent you an email about this, Mark

Could you clarify exactly what you mean by clients managing their own clients - perhaps the name of another CMS that you use and how they facilitate this? We can look into offering something in the future, or we may already offer it.

Simon's reply on this page shows how you could re-arrange the repeating regions:

In the WYSIWYG editor, you can do this by clicking on the Link icon and then Advanced.

Upon logging into your website through the system, it appears to be working fine (can I assume you worked it out?) - if not, could you please email us with your FTP details to general [at] simplecms.com and I'll look into this for you.

Could you email sprt [at] simplecms.com and we can look into this for you Jacob - something's not right

It's perhaps not too clear and it may be something we should really look into moving, but you can do what you want to do.

Account > My account > Update rich text editor options (bottom right)

Should save you fair bit of time!

If you upgrade and pay for the year then you get the better deal - you can do this at any time through your account
