I was training a client on using the editing system with a lightbox photo gallery, and when attempting to edit or delete an image, kept getting a popup error that said "The image you're trying to edit is broken; you cannot edit broken images.". However, this only occured in IE9; this did not happen in Chrome or Firefox. Is this a known issue? Or any clue what may cause this?

I apologize if this has been asked elsewhere on this forum. In addition to creating new pages, is it possible within the SimpleCMS system for the end user to create new directories as well?

Thanks,
Mitch

I have a client site that has an html table within a div, used as a way to keep scores in a tournament.  At the end of each tournament (every 3 months), the client needs to clear the contents of the scoring tables and start over. He's looking for an easier way to do this (rather than tab to each cell to clear the contents, as he has multiple pages that he needs to do this on).

From within the SimpleCMS editor, when you right-click on a table, it provides a variety of options to delete rows, delete cells, delete formatting, etc. Is there any such way, from with the SimpleCMS editor, that all table content can be cleared (without deleting the actual rows, cells, etc)?

Thanks,
Mitch

Awesome!

Because every client site is designed differently, and has different CMS functionality enabled/disabled, I actually go through the process of creating a customized Help Guide for each client, with functionality and screenshots that are unique to their specific site, and email it to them upon launch.

However, it appears that it is only possible to have a link to a single Help Guide for all sites under a Simple CMS account. I would like to be able to customize this link for each site, pointing to the Help Guide that is specific to each client site. Is there a way to do this in the current system, that perhaps I am overlooking? Otherwise, I would like to recommend this for a feature request.

Thanks,
Mitch

Thanks, Gavin. Glad to hear that will be smoothed out in the next version..

I had a client create a new page in the system, then he wanted to link to it from another page, and he couldn't figure out how to do it. When he highlighted the text to link, and clicked on the "Link" option on the editing menu, there is no option there for him to browse/navigate to find the newly created page to link to.

I told him to navigate to the newly created page via the Sitemap on the top toolbar, copy the URL/page link for the newly created page, and then use that for his hyperlink that he originally wanted to create elsewhere.

Although that method works for him, its not very intuitive/user-friendly. Is there an easier way to do this, and I'm just totally overlooking it? Or this just the way the system is?

Thanks...
Mitch

Thanks, Simon. I look forward to seeing this capability in SimpleCMS the future.

The overall capability to edit these lightbox galleries via the CMS is really brillant. Clients love it.

What if, for example, I have a lightbox image gallery where the thumbnail is a completely different image from what pop-ups up when clicked on? Is there a way via the CMS that end users can define different images as the thumbnail, when what appears when popped up? (I'm sure this sounds srtange, as it defeats the purpose of "thumbnails", but I actually have multiple client sites where this is done).
