just found out that after a re-publishing of my site that all the latest updates i did had disapaired, which was disapointing as they were on Latest Events Pages and had been missing over a week, reading through the support zone came across a previous post "re- publishing 16th march 2012" and found out the reason why! is there anyway to edit pages so that even after republishing the information is kept, I use Serif Webplus X5 for my websites. until I know of another way, I now upload my information from separate files (notepad) so it's easy to keep the information but it is still a pain having to keep uploading information into the editable parts of my site as it is refresh/republished regularly . I note mention of an Edit Site in the future would this help me or is the only way what I am doing now.

Hi
I Have some web hosting and a few sub domains, my main domain www.whatson24-7.co.uk I can define the editable areas and save and edit with no problems. With my sub domains www.vienne86.co.uk and others( silverstonejaguar.co.uk and rczracing.co.uk, these were just practice sites for setting up sub domains)
Now i can see and define /save on www.vienne86.co.uk but I cannot edit contents it just comes back to the define-edit
As this is the free Simple CMS I am using I do delete sites from it everytime so only one is current
So www.whatson24-7.co.uk I am able to define/save/edit ok but sub domains I can define/save but edit part does not work
I will gladly send you my user name /password for my sites , these are hosted on UK2.net
