Topic: Branding for "Forgot Password" email
Hello,
I noticed that the "Forgot Password" email shows that it's from SimpleCMS <hey@simplecms.com>. Is there any way to change this?

Hello,

Hi, the forgotten password email comes from your email address when your users enter their email address.
The system works out the admin account for users and uses that email address. In your case you are the admin user so the email is from SimpleCMS.
You can test this by adding a new user to your account, using a spare email address, and then requesting a new password.
We could easily simplify this by ensuring that all emails coming from a Professional account show the brand, no matter who they are addressed to... would you prefer this?
Yeah, I think that was part of my confusion. I didn't realize that the email message was treated different for the admin than the regular users. I think it would be more straightforward for the emails to be the same, whether admin or regular user. A better option would be to allow the email address to be changeable to something different than the admin's email address (e.g: support@xxx.com).
We've updated the email so it comes from the admin email, even if the admin is requesting a new password.
Having an option in the system to specify your support email address is a good idea and it's already on our our to-do list.
